Cuttack Diabetes Research Foundation is a charitable trust to provide world class health care to diabetes patients with nominal charges. Around 500 patients are treated per day. LIC-CDRF-K.I.D.S Diabetic Eye Dept. is provided with modern equipment which will provide timely treatment to diabetic patient by laser therapy to prevent majority of blindness. It offers a wide range of eye care services including LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, treatment of retinal disease, and comprehensive family eye care.

CDRF has an extremely well established unit for ophthalmology. With a good team of experienced full time and visiting doctors, the ophthalmology unit provides all of the following facilities on a regular basis:

• Regular Screening
• Keratometer
• 'A' Scn Biometer
• Auto Refractometer
• Fundus Photography
• Treatment of diabetic retinopathy and pther eye disorders
