Community Diabetes Awareness Programmes

Cuttack Diabetes Research Foundation has identified more than sixty thousand diabetic people, suffering from its related complications like kidney failure, lower limb amputation, blindness, heart disease, strokes and nerve damages. And our experience has emphasized that for each known case these is an unknown. Most of the people are unaware they have diabetes or are at risk of developing the disease, and it’s taking as an epidemic form. Therefore, early detection is considered important in improving the management of the disease and its prevention.
